So I've finally hit the big '20' on my little countdown board. Oh my Gawd..!
At this rate, there's no turning back cause things are sorta in place now. All I gotta do now, is wait for 19th September to show up, then board the plane and ADIOS!
I'm outta here, on a journey to a brand new Chapter in my life.

Went out for lunch with Jackiee this afternoon. *Did I mention I stayed up till 3 am to finish 11 Chapters to the book I was reading??
Anyway, had KFC @ Eastpoint.. Returned some DVD I borrowed from VideoEazy.
Walk, walk, walk around the mall till Tracy spotted us from the second level. I think she was there to buy herself some dress? Not sure..
Hung out with her for a couple of hours, before heading back home by bus.

Found dad at home when we got back.. Lazed around at home.
Things got so boring that Dad decided we go to Parkway to pick mom up and then have dinner with the family. Jackiee however, had her thing to do so she wasn't with us.
Bought some more necessities for my trip when we got to Parkway. Clothes as well ^_^

Had dinner.. was suppose to meet the girls at 9pm but we had to go to my uncle's place.
SORRY GIRLS!! I'll make it up to you..
Came home after that.. Currently watching "Tears of the Sun" on telly.

Sunday tomorrow which means Church to attend. *Sigh

Starting on a new novel that I went to borrow/purchased today.
Looks like I'm gonna have to spent whatever time I have, READING cause I'm done reading the first one, MONTHS ago and I heard that this one is Awesome!

So its TEACHER'S DAY today.. Wishing all EX-Teachers since I'm currently not schooling anymore!! Its too bad I couldn't make it to SAC to visit the teachers, infact.. its my second year not doing so. Seriously, what kind of student am I? Haha =)

Spent the afternoon at home with Jackiee, who came back early from school. Hung out with her, doing sister things. Then she got ready to head out to STUDY.. Yeah..
Waited for mom to return home from work. Cooked dinner while chit chatting with her.. seems like she's realized that I've got 20 days left and its probably freaking her out by now.
Oh Well..

Had dinner, bla bla bla.. Watched this extremely funny Japanese Variety show called "VIKING". Dad looks like he's into it. Towards the night, sat in the living room.. with dim lights on and started on reading my book.
Then it occurred to me that I haven't updated my blog and here I am!

To this day, I've no idea what I'm good at.. or what my talent is.

Anyway, got up early..went to Eastpoint to get some stuff. Then home again, bummed around waiting for Mariah's awaited call which was suppose to be at 11am. Unfortunately for her, her phone went flat and continued sleeping till 3pm. Wow..
But its understandable..probably next time we'll head to Parkway.

Mom kinda pissed me of when we were making dinner today. I mean if I can forget what happened yesterday, I don't understand why she has to rank it up again and make me feel totally guilty.
The reason why I got pissed with my dad last night, was that he's always telling me what to do when I KNOW what he's gonna say..
Its just so sickening.. And since I'm leaving soon, I try not to show how upset I was.

Whatever, TOLERANCE and definitely PATIENCE.. that's all I need for now.
I seriously felt so much better when I started banging on the piano, playing fast tempo music.
It's the only way that de-stresses me. Dad came home, and everything seemed Normal.. fantastic.

Now if ya'll excuse me, I FEEL for some dessert!

Was suppose to be running errands this afternoon but the laziness got to me even before I could leave the house. *Way to Go Cat..
So anyway, stayed at home.. checked emails every 2 hours. Crazy right? Oh! And was chatting with Van on MSN.. Haha =) Actually, we've been doing that often lately..

Then Jackiee came home, after which she had her tuition lesson. Since the house was so small, I had to "isolate" myself in mom's room so that my little sister can have her piece and quite when she studies. *Yea right..
Picked mom up from the bus-stop cause it started raining AGAIN -__-.
Seriously, is it monsoon season already? Can't be right?

Well anyway, mom.. along with my help, made Chili Garam for dinner. Taste exceptionally good I tell you! Chilled out after that, watched UGLY BETTY. Good show.. haha =)
Might meet up with Mariah and head to Parkway for some MINOR shopping.. and also meet mom up for lunch or something?? We'll see how it goes..

Don't you think the weather's a little Fucked up lately? Its been raining for three days, non-stop.
Today's a little bit better though..
Anyway, I'm so thankful I'm not having 'Monday Blues' simply because today I've done nothing but run errands.

Took a short bus ride to Tampines Central.. waited for nearly 45 minutes at POSB but managed to send the money to Korea. After which, Mariah met me at the bank, FINALLY cashed in the cheque. However, we won't receive the money till Wednesday. Bummer..
After posting my mail at the post office, bought Mariah Ice-cream sundae and McChicken burger from Macs cause she said she was feeling down. I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER! =)

Came home, found Jackiee sleeping like a LOG. -___-
Quickly fixed dinner and tidied up the house before mom came back home.

Another day of running errands awaits tomorrow.. *sigh

What a day.. toes are hurting, feet are aching!
I soooo wanna get this done and over with so that I can 'hit the sack'.

Got up early this morning.. *Thank you mother, you made my day.. had American Breakfast after so long. Then hung out for a few hours, checking e-mails and then cleaning up my room..
In the afternoon, got dressed and ready to head out with my sister. Decided to commit a FULL day with her and Drea.

When me and Jackiee walked out of the house, started raining like FUCK. So heavy..
My dear sister had to "borrow" an umbrella from someone we don't even know. I guess you can call it STEALING.. =)
Took the bus 12 to Tanah Merah Station then the train to Bugis. Still raining so walking around was a problem.. Had lunch at Fish & Co which I think Jackiee enjoyed it since its her second time there..
Walked around somemore, met Drea after that. Made our way to Bugis Street.. Packed as usual and not to mention SUPER WET. Drea and I bought ourselves a pair of shoes..

Head back to Bugis Junction cause Drea just had to have her FAMOUS AMOS cookies.. tsk!
Took the train to City Hall, Suntec. Checked out some clothes from COTTON ON. Thank God they had those Cardigans that I had my eyes on for a long time. Unfortunately, they din have L size at Suntec, but I managed to ask them to call the other outlets and PARKWAY has it! So I'll probably head there when I've cashed in Mariah's Cheque and claim half of it..

Towards evening, me and Jackiee took the bus back to the east, Drea took the train earlier.
Jackiee went home, while I made my way to Simpang Bedok to meet a Cheryl, Gerard and Mudh. Its been ages since I last saw them.. looks like all is good for them, except for Mudh whose recovering from a Bike accident. -___- The dangers of riding a motorcycle.

Had dinner, caught up with each other. Then the continuous rain just totally dampened our spirits that we decided to head back early and probably meet another time when the SUN's out more often. Mudh sent me to the bus stop while the other two took their bike and left. Some friends they are..

Came home.. just Jackiee. Parents M.I.A..
No lah, mom's busy working while dad's meeting up with his cousin.

Its Friday again..

Was at home the whole day.. cleaning the house and what not. A while later, Vanessa came over to have lunch. Seems she kinda liked the MANDU soup I let her to try.. then waited for Mariah to show up. Got the shock of my life when I saw that 'thing' dangling at the tip of her nose..
Seriously, I din think she was gonna get a septum piercing that soon!
*So much for telling me next time ah..

Anyway, since Mariah was tired and all.. gave her the Kimchi Soup I made. And she's right, soup tastes much better when there's shells in it. Haha =) But who cares! I think today would be the last time I'm cooking Kimchi Soup for them..
After tha early dinner, chilled out infront of the telly. Vanessa was on the couch, totally K.O (Knock Out). She's a busy woman.. working must be tiring!

Mom came home, last minute telling me that Dad would be back for dinner. Like wth? Everyone told me yesterday, they were having dinner outside so I din cook. Now they tell me that they're coming home for dinner.. -__-
So mom had to cook while I got ready to send the girls off to the bus stop.
Bought bubble tea and cheese fries at N2 while sitting down at a table and talked. Send them to their respective bus stops, then walked back home.

I think i'm gonna turn in early.. after my sister returns home of course..
So where is she??!?! Sickening..

Totally forgot to update yesterday.. Apologies!
But then again, what the hell sia.. it seems I'm the ONLY one updating promptly.. haha =)

Anyway, after much careful thought and consideration, Mom and Dad decided that I stay at the school's campus since I just got their confirmation email, stating that I've been given a spot there.
So why not right?? Its safe, has better facilities and all that. Only problem is that its expensive, considering the fact that its close to 500 bucks a month. And PEOPLE! This excludes food man..
Tsk tsk..

But whatever.. Dad says, "SAFETY COMES FIRST". Which I totally agree.. -___-
Just send them an email, telling them to Confirm everything. So I guess that's it then.. one of the last things on my list, STRIKE OFF!
Gotta send them my application form thru Air mail, and then pay the fees. Sigh*

Now I just gotta do some more shopping and then start packing my things.. =(

That's 31 days people! Oh my goodnes..
Other than partially freakin out and thinking about the worst possibilities, I'm good? haha =)

Made myself a fantastic lunch today.. Pasta!! Then went online for a few hours, talking to Van and all, while searching something on ebay. After that, went out for an appointment with the doc.. it took much shorter than expected?
Anyway, came home again.. mom told me to prepare some ingredients for tonight's dinner. Bla bla bla..

After dinner, was in mom's room with her. Finding the PERFECT homestay for me, online. Seriously not easy man.. Still got alot more 'ahjummas' to call tomorrow..
Oh! Dad got me a new SAMSUNG camera.. not what I wanted but still slightly better than my old one. haha =) Thanks daddy!

First time I ever woke up early to get ready for church. AMAZING..
Went for mass in the morning. As usual lah, wasn't paying attention to the sermon, was busy text messaging people..

Went out to have lunch with the family and then walking around N2 market. Then it started raining like crapp. Got a last minute call from Mariah, asking me to head to her place since Vanessa's going there too. So I got Dad to send me there. Waited more than 5 minutes, outside Mariah's door.. took her so long to open it. When I got inside, realised that she was in the shower.

Hung out, ordered pizza, watched telly and basically chit chatted untill Van showed up. Gossipping about people was our thing.. haha =)
Watched YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN again.. then went out with the girls to 7-11.
Did I mention Mariah made us walk so far? Pfft! Well anyway, after walking around, took the bus back home, in time for dinner.

33 days man...!

I have to say this..
Last night was the WORST night of my life. Just as I was about to head to bed at 1230am, I started feeling nauseous and just had to throw up. All thanks to that darn medication I'm currently taking.. It sure is strong man! So for the next hour or so, kept visiting the toilet and stuck my face into the toilet bowl. Seriously man, it wasn't funny!

Other than that, I'm glad I got through the night. Felt much better this morning when I woke up.
Today being a Saturday, everyone was at home except mom who's earning her bucks. Jackiee went for tuition so it was just me and my dad. He decided to help me with the house cleaning and what do ya know? Another pair of hands makes the job alot easier man.. haha
Spent the rest of the afternoon, configuring my laptop cause dad installed a new programme.

Towards evening, me and dad went to Parkway to pick mom up from work.. dun ask where Jackiee was cause she went her own way. Then bought some stuff here and there. Had dinner at Geylang coffee shop.. food there is heavenly! Drove back home after getting groceries from Sheng Shiong.. Tired man!

Gonna turn in early today since I din really get much sleep last night.
OH! Dad says he agrees with the BBQ thing.. so I guess it's gonna happen! Yayness!

Had the weirdest dream last night.. Kept visualising this damn adorable baby but I have no idea whose it was. Definitely not mine though?! Or is it??..
And then I kept hearing my cousin's name (Marc) being called out.. So therefore, I have a feeling that my family will be receiving some BIG news from Marc's parents, sometime soon. Its just a feeling though, may be rubbish. Haha =)

Afternoon was boring.. Din eat lunch cause there was simply nothing nice to eat. All side dishes with no rice.. WONDERFUL -__-
Watched a couple of movies online.. nothing interesthing lah. Then got a call from my dear friend Mariah.. asking me out to have sushi with her. I WAS CRAVING for that man!

Met her at Century Square..had our usual feast. This time we din stuff ourselves like the Dhoby Ghaut incident which by the way was terrible! I could have barffed everything I ate..including my guts! Anyway, after that.. walked around the mall, comparing prices with some concealer.

Mariah decided she wanted to get her fringe cut so we took the bus to Cyrena's.
AHEM.. Mariah got herself a free ride, without having to pay anything.. Sly Fox!
So she did her thing, took the bus to Eastpoint where we got our TRIGUS pierced.. it was our second time so it din really hurt that bad.. Walked home after sending Mariah to the bus stop near my place.

Came home to find mom.. ALL ALONE. Poor soul. Accompanied her untill Jackiee came back from her class event. Dad's not home yet so I guess I have every reason to stay up!

I just realised that I've got a little more than a month left in Singapore. 1 month and 5 days to be exact.. OH MY GOD! This is definitely the time to freak out and be totaly anxious..

Since I was so lazy to update my blog with 'actual' words yesterday, I replaced it with a song.. that doesn't really relate to me but I find it extremely meaningful.
I personally think every teenager goes through this crapp. Finding out about who we are and what we wanna be in the future.Basically, its all about growing up and excepting reality.



So anyway, Disney Channel was showing this new upcoming movie called "CAMP ROCK".. Starring Demi Lovato and the absolute-adorable JONAS BROTHERS.
Me and Jackiee couldn't wait to watch it on telly so we decided to try our luck and search it online. PRESTO! We actually found it.. haha =)
The movie was alright.. Kinda what we expected, just like HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL but way better.

However, I would have to say that the songs from the movie were pretty good!
Thus the addiction to the song I uploaded. Is it because the JONAS BROTHERS are just too good at making good music? And not to mention.. Demi Lovato sings way better than Miley Cyrus! Which I might add, every critic is writing about that in magazines.And did I mention how HOT Joe Jonas is?? My age people!! Born in the year 1989..
Yea.. Keep dreaming Cat, you're darn good at that. Haha =)


Well, another day has passed. Was talking to Uncle Jude online this afternoon, telling me how proud he is that I'm actually making this decision to leave Singapore and fulfill my mission. To know more about my other half..
Honestly, I think its important to know about one's heritage and culture. Infact, its only right that I do!

I would say that I'm kinda SHAGGED at the moment.. I'm not sure why, but I guess its because we've been "running" around Singapore today. From the east to the west and back to the east again... Went for mass in the morning with the family.Today's sermon was all about HAVING FAITH people..haha.
Then went opposite to NTUC cause dad wanted to buy his dumb numbers for 4D since he claims that he feels lucky today. That's what ALL addicted gamblers say.. "I Feel Lucky today.."

Took that LOOONG drive to Chua Chu Kang cemetery to visit my Grandma cause its her death anniversary. Met the other Nonis'.. said prayers and all that. Bizzare thing my family did was to have Uncle Mel's left over noodles from yesterday, brought it to the grave yard and we had lunch there. No tables, no chairs! We sat in our cars and ate.. haha! Funny shit man..

After visiting another grave ( Uncle Apollo to be exact..) Darren came along with us and drove back to the east. Dad dropped us off outside Singapore Expo where they were having some METRO sale.Jackiee went ballistic and got herself so many make-up products. Darren got himself a bag and me? Bought some top and hair dye. I was happy I got something from there.

Took a cab back home, chilled out infront of the telly. Darren helped me dyed my hair but unfortunately, there's no difference to it.Which made me waste my 10 bucks! Shitt-ums..

Another week has arrived.. I am more or less prepared. Got almost everything I need.. all i need to do is to pack them nicely. Which won't happen till another few weeks.. haha =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE !!


Yay.. so our country turns 43 today. 3 cheers! I would say that this year's parade was ALRIGHT. Nothing fancy and not that boring either..

Was at home with dad the whole day.. Jackiee had tuition somewhere. Chilled out with Dad, caught up with him on the things that happened while he was gone. Then he also talked about me and that upcoming big trip. Wow.. one on one talk with my dad, doesn't really happen often.

Towards the late afternoon, dad drove me and jackiee to Parkway to pick mom up from work. At the same time, had to do some groceries. Before we came home, dropped by Mi-Sun Emo's place to pick up a big box of Korean Ramen that mom ordered last week. She even gave me a Generous Hong-bao for my study trip. HOWEVER, mom had to keep it for me untill I leave. So obviously I can't spend it. -__-

Came home, watched the parade for a while before heading to Kevin's place for his small Birthday party. Not many people came but it was still "fun".. Hung out for a few hours, had a fantastic dinner that Uncle Mel cooked. Returned home.. feeling tired!

Church tomorrow.. gotta get up early. -___-

Currently watching the opening ceremony of the 'Beijing Olympics' on telly. Seems like a "Grand" affair since the whole world is coming together once, every 4 years.. WOOPEE.. -__-

Just as I thought I was gonna have my peaceful sleep this morning, got interrupted by Mariah's call. I could have slept till afternoon since there wasn't much to do in the house and that I NEEDED it cause I slept in pretty late last night. Sheesh..

I'm seriously getting so pissed and impatient with those people from MDIS. How long does it take to send me my money?? Its been wad..3 freakin months and no word from them. They sure are taking their time when it comes to handling money. Pfftt!
I'm so gonna make a call to them on Monday.. There's no way anyone can break their promise when it comes to owing them money..

Dad had dinner outside with his friends. He could have told me earlier then I won't have to crack my brains and think of what to cook. -__- Inconsiderate..
So mom came home, helped me made some simple dishes and turned out quite alright. Thank God! the weekend has approached, won't have to step into the kitchen for 2 days. =)

So anyway, mom's been sitting down with me these past few days.. telling me about the do's and don't s when i'm there. Guess she's really worried about me but I'm confident that I can take care of myself.. haha =)

Right..Tomorrow's our Nation's 43rd year of self-independence.. in other words,
Singapore's Birthday. I suppose its and important day and all, but I'm more into celebrating Kevin's Birthday.. haha =) Will be heading to his place for dinner tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Amazing man.. after so many days of crazy HOT weather, it finally RAINED!
Infact, its been raining since this afternoon and still is.

So I got up early again.. made my way to Scotts Road, Korean Embassy to collect my passport. Its finally done..I've got my VISA, I've got the ticket.. now its only a matter of time before I pack up and then leave. Kept telling Mariah that i'm feeling so nervous and all.. bet she's irritated by now. HAAHA! I expect that anyway? =)

Bought some groceries from NTUC, before heading back home. Cleaned up the house cause dad's arrival back to Singapore was today. Cooked up a few dishes for dinner..

- Chicken and Vege Soup
- Sambal Belachan Long-Beans
- Stir Fried Pork with Spring Onions

Mom and Jackiee LOVED it! haha.. So anyway, had dinner then chilled out infront of the com, looking for a suitable place to rent a room when I'm at Korea.
So mom's currently making an overseas call to the "landlord". Seems like a good offer and all and the Ahjummah sounds friendly.

Tomorrow's a FRIDAY! So fast?!!

Went out the whole day today.. feeling so tired after all the walking about. Plus, I'm currently having a headache. Am I thinking too much or something??

Anyway, went to meet Mariah on the train this afternoon. Took the train down to Orchard Road. I finally managed to buy myself a pair of M.E.L sunglasses from TANGS.
Haha.. Even influenced Mariah to get a pair also. Well, it was up to her, I din FORCE her to buy?!
Walked over to Swenses for lunch. Had chicken and mushroom spaghetti.. it was alright, but I still prefer dad's home made one.

Took the train to Chinatown. Went over to Hong Thai Travel Agency to collect my plane ticket. Took a while to find the place cause there were so many offices. Got my ticket, went back to the MRT station to meet Vanessa and company. Took the train back to the East.

No one was at home when I came back. NO food, NO nothing..
Wonderful..

I'm gonna search for food now.. BYE!

Din do much today.. got a call from the Travel Agency this morning, lady said I can go collect my plane ticket during the next few days.
So I thought of heading there in the afternoon but something came up.

Waited for mei mei to return home. She had tuition after that so whatever..
Bla bla bla.. usual things happened. Cooked Sweet and Sour Fish for dinner.. I think it tasted quite alright for first timer. haha =) Waited for mom to return home but she took longer than expected.

Gotta run some errands tomorrow with Mariah. Let's hope she wakes up on time..eh?

Ola everyone! Monday again.. extremely fast I must say.
Got up damn early this morning to go to the Korean Embassy.. I finally got my Student Visa done after soo bloody long. When I came out to the Lobby, it started raining like crapp so I had to wait another 15 mins for it to "calm" down. Took the train back to Tampines.. went to SAMSUNG to get my phone serviced but found out it was pointless so I ditched the place and made my way to the polyclinic.

Had to wait another 2 hours to see the doc so I decided to head home and come back another day. Cleaned up the house and then went online throughout the rest of the afternoon till Jackiee and mom came home from their respective places.

People are starting to make so many appointments with me. Mostly peeps from MDIS.. busy busy busy. But I wanna make it a point to spend a whole day with everyone that are close to me, before I leave. *sigh.

I'm tempted to make a whole new blog.. but when I think about it, it'd be such a waste for this current one since I've been at it for 3 years now. So many good ( not forgetting the bad too..) memories, all kept in this blog. Okay then, I ain't gonna change it. Haha.

Today being a Sunday, I was the ONLY one who attended mass in the afternoon. I din plan on going actually but I don't know how I landed there. HAHA
After that really long mass.. took the bus to N2, bought myself lunch. Walked back home, under the BLAZING sun which also dehydrated me and burned my skin. Thank God I made it home in one piece cause if not, I could have fainted at the side of the road. -__-

Now Jackiee's pissing both me and my mom cause she such a LOSER at making promises. Teenagers like her deserve severe punishment man..
I mean, you already got permission to go to Singfest again, on the condition that you return home on time. And see what happens? Its almost 12am and she's not home yet.. PLUS ITS ON A SUNDAY.. she's got school tomorrow man.. Geezus!

That will be the date. The very date that I will be leaving SUNNY SINGAPORE for unpredictable cold weather at KOREA.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen.. I've booked my airplane ticket and I'm flying off on the 19th Next month. This has seriously made things a little more nerve-wrecking..

Its the first of AUGUST!! Exactly 49 days..

Woke up early today.. Surprised to see dad at home on a FRIDAY. Reason being, he's flying off to Shanghai tomorrow, for one of his usual business trips. -___-
And since mom took the day off, he figured he'll do the same.

Got dressed and took a cab down to Scotts Road where I had to give some documents to the Korean Embassy. Damn sickening I tell you.. there's always something that needs to be done before I can make that VISA. So, I'll have to head back there on Monday to OFFICIALLY get my VISA done.. It had better happen man, or i'll surely create a huge din about it.

Took the train back to the east. Met mom and dad at S'pore expo where that NATAS fair was being held at. Mom's a genius sometimes.. she thought of going to this fair, so we won't have to travel all the way to Chinatown to find reasonable airfare ticket. Thankfully, there was a promotion going on.. so I got my Tickets at a really reasonable price!

Drove over to Bedok interchage.. mom needed to buy some LIVE crabs from Sheng Shiong. Chilli Crabs for dinner.. a must have man! haha..

Saturday tomorrow.. what shall I do? SHOPPING!!
Gonna ask dad for money..
