'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' MOTHER..

This is by far the most TEDIOUS thing i've ever done for my mother but it was all worth it.
Since she's pretty upset that Dad won't be home for her birthday, me and jackiee decided to surprise her with a scrumptious dinner with decorations all over the house and a home-made birthday cake.
The day started by my mom's constant whinning.. just because she can't sleep, she insists that the rest of us should get up early as well.

At exactly 12.30pm, we left the house. Reached Eastpoint, had lunch at KOBAYASHI first before doing our food shopping. Came home with the stuff. Immediately started on cooking the Korean Traditional 'Birthday' Soup.. its a must have dish! Mom didn't think I was gonna cook it.. but she was so happy that I did. =)

Then proceeded with the Suji Cake.. came out alright BUT something terrible happened which I shall not mention here. haha =)
Jackiee did her part as well.. she made her signature dish, POTATO SALAD and then we both cooked the roast chicken. Thought we were gonna screw the whole thing, but it came out nice and juicy. WELL DONE! haha .. Decorated the dinning room abit before mom came back home from work. As expected, she was surprised. Definitely saw a smile on her face. =)

Had dinner.. damn shiok! Then came her birthday cake.. blew out the candles. Yay.. -__-
She's 47 years old. Not too young, not too old either. haha =) Opened her presents that we got her.. Basically she's happy lah.. It would be even nicer if DAD could JOIN us.. but work is work so too bad!

Darren's Birthday party tomorrow..Nah lah.. just a small family gathering. But still excited cause I din get to see my little cousins for over a month now.

Off i go then..
